Bomb Found in Camber Sands
An unexploded bomb was thought to have been found in the car park of “The Place on the Beach” hotel in Camber Sands, East Sussex.
The road was closed and the bomb squad called.
It was thought to be an unexploded WW2 bomb. A police officer had said it is quite large and potentialy dangerous.
But it was later revealed by the bomb squad to be just a rusty piece of metal buried in the ground.
Ooops.

Google is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of PAC-MAN today, the legendary little slice of pizza stormed the world after its launch in 1980 along with his spooky adversaries Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde. I remember playing pack man at our local social club as a kid with my uncles and aunties all trying to get the initials in the top spot. That little 2 player table top version of PAC-MAN would be a collectors item now.
There were a truck load of spin offs from PAC-MAN including the Miss PAC-MAN games and even a cartoon on Saterday morning telly for a few years.
The little guy is still going strong today with the PAC-MAN iPhone app being hugely popular.
I couldn’t resist marking the moment myself so I decided to film myself having a game on the google doodle version of the game.
I still haven’t lost my touch, I managed a score of 32,300. But i reckon I could have done better with a proper old school joystick.
